Recientemente ha estado desempeñándose en la pantalla chica siendo jurado de “Latin American Idol” y como uno de los concursantes de “Mira Quién Baila” por Univisión, con lo que se ha puesto de manifiesto el cariño y respeto que le tiene su público. Pero “ya era hora de volver a lo mío”, dice Jon Secada al referir que se encuentra listo para lanzar su nuevo sencillo a la radio, “Déjame Quererte” (Mi Secreto).

“Es una canción pop contemporánea que escribí junto al productor José Gaviria, y que refleja muy bien el sentido del álbum que sacaré próximamente”, indica el músico cubano. El single llegará a la radio internacional desde el lunes 18 de octubre y es parte de “Otra Vez”, un nuevo material que vendrá repleto de temas inéditos.

Al llevar un buen tiempo alejado de los estudios de grabación, el intérprete de “Ángel” dedicó especial atención al proceso de producción del disco que, de acuerdo a lo que ha dicho el cantautor, es un “genuino resultado” de todas las experiencias y la madurez que ha alcanzado a lo largo de una rutilante trayectoria de más de 20 años.

Sin embargo, Jon tiene más proyectos en carpeta. Uno de ellos es “Secada’s”, un café cantante que abrirá sus puertas con un concierto extraordinario el 4 de noviembre en el Magic City Casino de Miami, dotado de una tarima para ofrecer conciertos al aire libre. Con motivo de su apertura, el también actor anunció que brindará un show al lado de sus amigos Olivia Newton-John y los reconocidos cantantes cubanoamericanos Lissette y Willy Chirino.

En este establecimiento, el artista tiene pensado deleitar a los asistentes con su música, una atractiva mezclas de sonidos que fusiona jazz, funk, soul y percusión latina. Además expresó: “Es emocionante poder crear un nuevo lugar como éste, casual, único en su especie, para que artistas locales puedan reunirse y demostrar todo su talento. Espero poder compartir momentos inolvidables en Secada’s at Magic City Casino”.

Most recently he’s been seen on the little screen as a judge on “Latin American Idol” and one of the dancers on Univision’s “Mira Quién Baila.” But, “it’s time to get back to my music,” says Jon Secada, ready for the launching of his latest single, “Déjame Quererte” (Mi Secreto).

“It’s a pop song I wrote with producer José Gaviria and which is a good preview of the album I’ll be releasing shortly,” said the talented Cuban singer. The single, which will air on international radio beginning Monday, October 18, is part of “Otra Vez,” an album full of new songs.

The singer of “Angel” paid special attention to every detail in the production of this album, which he says, “is the genuine synthesis” of his experiences and the maturity he has achieved throughout his 20-year career.

However, Jon has other projects to share with his public. One of them is Secada’s, a lounge that will open its doors with a concert on November 4 at the Magic City Casino in Miami, with an outdoor stage for al fresco concerts. He also announced that he will be sharing the stage with his friends Olivia Newton-John and the popular Cuban-American singers Lissette and Willy Chirino for the inaugural concert.
